Meet Dr. Veney
I am Dr. Danielle R. Veney, Ph.D., LMFT, founder and lead clinician of Solutions First Therapy. I provide virtual therapy to adolescents and adults across Georgia, South Carolina, Nevada, and Florida (telehealth-only), supporting clients who feel emotionally overwhelmed, internally conflicted, or stuck in repeating relational patterns despite appearing high-functioning on the outside.
My work is grounded in attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based clinical practice. Many of the individuals I work with struggle with anxiety, overthinking, emotional shutdown, people-pleasing, or relationship dynamics that feel confusing or exhausting. Therapy with me focuses on helping clients build emotional clarity, develop internal security, and understand why certain patterns persist—without shame, pressure, or judgment.
I take a highly attuned and intentional approach to therapy. Sessions are structured yet flexible, allowing space for depth, insight, and nervous-system awareness while remaining goal-oriented and practical. I am particularly thoughtful about pacing, emotional containment, and creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel both supported and challenged in meaningful ways.
As a PhD-level clinician, I oversee both the clinical and operational direction of Solutions First Therapy. My goal is to ensure that each client experiences care that is professional, grounded, and personalized therapy that feels steady, respectful, and aligned with long-term growth rather than quick fixes.
Whether you are navigating anxiety, relationship stress, life transitions, or a desire to better understand yourself, my intention is to offer a therapeutic space that feels safe, collaborative, and genuinely supportive of change.
